Five-year and annual plans

Strategic plans are five-year plans that outline the big goals, major initiatives, and Oklahoma City Community College's ENDs statements for the next five years. The ENDs statements pinpoint how the college will determine success.

Strategic Plan 2025-2030

Strategic Goals:

  • Strengthening student recruitment
  • Expanding financial resources
  • Increasing awareness and engagement
  • Advancing operational excellence

Renewal, Change, and Innovation 2019-2023

Three Big Goals:

1. Triple annual giving and grants to support student scholarships, community events, the endowment, and other college purposes.

Goal met: Annual giving and grants tripled.

2. Close the academic achievement gaps that persist with low-income, first-generation, and minority students.

Goal met: Though inherently societal in scope, this goal was met in full strategic intent through OCCC’s significant gains in student achievement across all groups.

3. Receive designation as a Hispanic-serving institution from the U.S. Department of Education.

Goal met: 25.1% of OCCC’s student body identifies as Hispanic.

Annual plans occur each year and detail the Core Indicators that are used to chart the progress the college has made on accomplishing the ENDs statements in the strategic plan. Annual plans directly align with the strategic plan.
