Placement in college-level courses is generally based on your high school GPA or GED score.
I Plan to Transfer. What Courses Should I Take?
Contact the university you plan to transfer to for specific degree requirements. Although OCCC advisors can provide guidance, the transfer institution makes the final decision regarding accepted credits.

What Documents Do I Need if I Am Transferring to OCCC?
Admissions will require official high school and college transcripts. Advising may also need copies for placement purposes, but unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
How Do I Change My Major?
To change your major, complete a Major Change Form. Contact your Student Success Advisor if you need assistance choosing a new major.
What Are Approved Electives?
