The OCCC OTA Flex Track will not be accepting applications for Spring 2025. We are making exciting curriculum changes and will provide updates soon. Applications for the Flex Track will reopen for Spring 2026 under the new curriculum.

This program is offered through a contractual arrangement between Oklahoma City Community College and Francis Tuttle Technology Center. You must first apply for admission to the program through Francis Tuttle Technology Center.

PREPARING A SELECTIVE HEALTH PROFESSIONS PROGRAM APPLICATION
OCCC’s health professions programs are by acceptance only and are highly competitive. Admittance to OCCC is required and each program has its own unique application and requirements. Application to the program must be completed and submitted by 12:00 p.m.-NOON (Central Standard Time) on the designated deadline date that is listed for the particular program. Applications are available online only.
The information below is a general guideline for all health programs.
While the documents requested from each program varies, the following guidelines will help prepare for the submission of a Selective Health Program Application.
Applicants must be admitted to OCCC at least a day prior to the application deadline. Â

Applicants who have not attended OCCC in the last 12 months may need to reapply for admission.
Applicants must upload proof of payment of the non-refundable Selective Admissions Application Fee to the application. Valid receipts can be printed using the OCCC Bursar Office Online Payment System or can be issued for cash or check payments made at the OCCC Bursar Office. A current application fee must be submitted for the cycle in which the student is applying. Valid receipts must include student name, date of purchase and program information.

Applicants must provide proof of having completed prerequisite courses or proof of enrollment in the prerequisite course(s). Applicants in progress with required prerequisites, must upload official schedule of enrollment to the application for any and all in progress courses.
Applicants must meet the minimum college retention grade point average required for the program.
Applicants must upload test scores that are required for the specific program to meet basic application requirements to be considered for eligibility. Test scores must be official scores provided from the issuing testing center or the OCCC Testing Center. Test scores submitted from another testing center must be marked as official and bear a signature/seal from the issuing test center, and must be submitted with the application. Test scores printed from the student portal are not official and will not be accepted.
Applicants must submit the most current and updated official college transcripts from every HLC and nationally accredited degree granting institution previously attended to the Records office, by the application deadline. Syllabi may be requested for non-HLC accredited schools. College transcripts cannot be uploaded to the application.
ACEN LPN transcripts, high school transcripts, ACT documents or other information needed for requirements or preference points must be uploaded to the application.
Students with international transcripts applying to either the Traditional and/or BADNAP Nursing programs must upload a copy of the third party evaluation showing U.S. Equivalency Summary to the application.
For BADNAP applicants: All applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an HLC or nationally accredited degree granting institution prior to the start of NUR 1519. Bachelor’s degree must be conferred on the transcript. Students who have not yet earned their Baccalaureate Degree, but will complete their degree by the start of NUR 1519 must submit an official, certified letter on letterhead from their current institution indicating that they are expected to graduate by the start of NUR 1519. This letter must be on the institution’s letterhead, bearing a signature/seal from an institution official.
All communication regarding program admission will be sent to your OCCC e-mail address within 4-6 weeks after the program application deadline.
Cohorts will be selected from eligible applicants and ranked by preference points and GPA according to individual program requirements. The top 25 alternates will be placed on an alternate list.
