Pre-Health

Upon successful completion of the Pre-Health Programs at Oklahoma City Community College, students will be able to:

• Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses required for Pre-Health program using scientific and mathematical methods.
• Demonstrate competency in foundational scientific concepts and laboratory techniques through successful completion of core Biology and Chemistry coursework required for Pre-Health programs, including microscopy, measurement, solution preparation, data collection, and safe laboratory practices.
• Communicate scientific information effectively through written laboratory reports, data presentation, and oral discussions using appropriate scientific terminology.
• Apply laboratory techniques and safe chemical handling practices to conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results accurately.
