The Office of Emergency Planning and Risk Management handles the following:
• Developing and implementing disaster preparedness training programs
• Coordinates emergency plans in accordance with regulations of state and federal agencies
• Insurance programs, other than health insurance
• Property claims
• Incident reports and claims related to students and visitors
Risk Management assists in providing a safe environment for OCCC's students, faculty, staff and visitors, and conserving OCCC's assets from the consequences of loss.
Risk Management seeks to achieve a college culture that emphasizes the control of risk in a manner that enhances the quality of OCCC's operations, facilities, services and the lives of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
