Daniel Bakewell has been teaching at OCCC since 2005.  He has also taught at OSU-OKC and the University of Oklahoma where he received a M.S. of Mathematics in 2006. All of Daniel's undergraduate work was done at East Central University in Ada, Ok. During his time at OCCC,  Daniel has worked as an adjunct professor, a developmental math lab instructor, and currently a full- time professor of mathematics.  He likes teaching a variety of courses as well as the diverse population of OCCC students.

Professor Bakewell has many other interest in addition to mathematics including education and learning in general, many types of art, and his family.  In addition to earning a M.S. in mathematics, Daniel has received a B.S. in art from East Central University in Ada, Ok.
