Welcome to the Workshop Connection
The Writing Center offers a plethora of workshops as an instructor and student resource with various topic, format, and time slot options. Each workshop is tailored to reflect the desired parameters of each person’s workshop request. Join us for an adventure into the exciting world of workshop creativity.
Workshop Goals
Workshop Guidelines
- Participants should prepare to listen to a presentation and ask questions throughout and following the workshop.
- Estimated workshop duration times are 30-45 minutes. Longer sessions could last 1 hour.
- Participants may request an individual or group workshop.
- Workshop requests can be scheduled for a seated classroom, reserved in the Learning Hub for in-person, or conducted via Zoom.
- Tutoring sessions are not a part of the workshop although workshops serve as the perfect gateway for tutor feedback.
Available Workshop Topics
To design your workshop, select a “Writing Situation” and the “Issues” that you would like to cover in the workshop material to include in your workshop request form. To optimize your experience, select 2-3 issues for each Writing Situation.
