Assessment TEAS
TEAS
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test was developed to measure basic essential skills in the academic content area domains of Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage. These entry-level skills were deemed important for nursing program applicants by a panel of nursing program curriculum experts.
The TEAS is divided into 4 timed sections:
Test 1 - Reading - 64 minutes
Test 2 - Math - 54 minutes
Test 3 - Science - 63 minutes
Test 4 - Grammar/English - 28 minutes
Results for the TEAS are available immediately after completing the exam.
To register for the test:
The fee for the TEAS test will be $80.00.
1. Pick up a TEAS test fee sheet at the Testing and Assessment Center
2. Pay the $80 fee at the Bursar's Office OR pay by clicking the RED Pay Online Button below.
3. Bring the receipt to Testing and Assessment or if you paid online call Testing and Assessment at 405-682-7531 to register for a test date.
Testers can pay online for Tests with a credit card or electronic check. There will be a 2.85% convenience fee for the use of credit cards.
Registering prior to test date is required.
Payment DOES NOT reserve a seat for the test. Contact Testing and Assessment at 405-682-7531 to reserve your seat for the test.
Test Day:
All students taking the ATI TEAS must present a photo ID for admissions to the test area. Acceptable ID’s must be original, current (valid) IDs issued by a city/state/federal government agency or your school. Note: School ID must be in hard plastic card format. Paper or electronic formats are NOT acceptable. The photo must be clearly recognizable as you. The OCCC Student ID is preferred.
The ATI TEAS test can only be taken twice during each application period.
