Brad Richter – Guitarist

Each of Brad Richter's pieces creates a world of sound into which a listener is immediately absorbed. His music tells stories and paints pictures by tapping into sonorities and textures that one might think were being created by a small orchestra rather than a single guitar. His performances, which also feature well-known works from the traditional classical repertoire, combine "dazzling virtuosity," "amusing anecdotes, and wonderfully descriptive and imaginatively written music," for a concert experience that is both entertaining and moving.
