Do you love fossils? Have you ever wanted to learn more about paleontology? Now’s your chance! Oklahoma City Community College’s (OCCC) Office of Community Outreach and Education is taking a trip to Peru, Kansas for a fossil dig Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. Both children and adults are welcome. Join OCCC in the field and be a paleontologist for a day!

The group will be on-site from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and each participant gets to keep what they find in the field. A paleontologist will also be on-site to help identify fossils. The cost is $15 per person for both adults and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The drive is approximately three hours from Oklahoma City and transportation is not provided by OCCC.
