Oklahoma City Community College’s Professional Development Institute (PDI) will be offering a course entitled “Workplace Violence Prevention – Active Shooter: Homicide in the Workplace Workshop.â€
The course will teach class participants how to respond to aggression in the workplace. This awareness program will help participants identify the warning signs of workplace violence and empower them to deal with and lessen workplace disorder and hostility. Topics addressed during the workshop will include: situational awareness, knowing your peers, having a survival mindset, having an individual plan of action and the role of law enforcement.
The class will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the PDI located at 7124 S. I-35 Service Road, Oklahoma City, OK, 73149. The course costs $395 per participant.
