After a successful first year, the Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) Foundation is bringing the fundraiser “Crescendo†back to the college’s annual Arts Festival Oklahoma (AFO), Sunday, Sept. 6, at 6:30 p.m.
“Crescendo†features a delicious array of food from a variety of local restaurants and caterers in the metro: Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, Rococo, Deep Fork Grill, Stuffed Olive Café, Tommy’s Italian American Grill, Cocina de Mino, Nosh by Catering Creations, Sweet Prairie Home-Signature Fudge, Catering by Michael and Johnnie’s Sweet Creations. Guests will also be treated to a selection of wine and beer.
Admission also includes entertainment by Tequila Azul and Andrew May and special reserved seating for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic’s annual outdoor performance and AFO fireworks display. Guests may also stay in the college’s theater and watch the performance on the live simulcast feed.
The event was created to help support the college’s annual Arts Festival Oklahoma, currently in its 37th year.
“Arts Festival Oklahoma has grown so much over the past decades, and we hope that this event can help continue that growth,†said Lealon Taylor, executive director of institutional advancement.
Tickets for “Crescendo†are $50.00 in advance. They can be purchased at /crescendo or by calling 405-682-7591. Guests who purchase tickets in advance will have festival parking included in the ticket price. Tickets will also be available at the door for $60.00.
