This February Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) will once again offer an outstanding, comprehensive course — Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fleet Management and Safety Operations. Designed for supervisors, personnel, management and fleet drivers, participants will learn what technology and safety procedures are required when working with a fuel that is both high pressure and lighter than air.
The course will be Thursday, Feb. 5, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Professional Development Institute, 7124 I-35 Service Road. Cost for the course is $325, which includes all instruction and course materials.
This class will cover core topics such as CNG and Propane Fuel Properties, Fleet Facts, Infrastructure, Vehicle System Components, Inspections and Maintenance.
