What to Expect After Migration
If you use the Microsoft Outlook software on your PC once the migration is complete you will notice a message that says your Microsoft Exchange administrator has made changes. You will be asked to sign out and sign back in. This is a normal part of the process. You are signing in to the new Microsoft 365 cloud account. If have been using Microsoft Outlook on your PC you will not notice any changes to the appearance of the software.
Changes to Webmail
If you were using webmail.occc.edu you will now go to outlook.com. Going to webmail.occc.edu will provide a link to outlook.com. You will need to sign in with your username/email address and password as usual. Outlook.com appears almost identical to the old webmail site. Setting Up Email on Mobile Devices
Mobile devices running Android or iPhone software, this includes tablets, will be signed out all email software automatically. You will need to sign in again with your username/email address and password as usual. If the mobile email software account does not automatically reestablish its connection, the Microsoft Exchange account will need to be removed and then added again on the mobile device. The Microsoft Exchange account can usually be found in your phone’s settings under “Accounts”. Instruction for each type of device are listed below. You can always go to outlook.com on your phones web browser if you have an immediate need for mobile email while waiting on assistance.
iOS
Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. These steps apply to devices running iOS 5.5 or above.

- Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. The Accounts screen will open.
- On the Accounts screen, tap the Exchange Account you want to remove.
- Scroll down and click Delete Account. A Delete Account warning window will open.
- On the Delete Account warning window, click Delete Account to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

iOS 12 devices running iOS 16.1.2 looks a bit different with the latest version.

- Go to Settings > Mail> Accounts> Exchange. The Accounts screen will open.
- On the Accounts screen, tap the Exchange Account you want to remove.
- Scroll down and click Delete Account. A Delete Account warning window will open.
- On the Delete Account warning window, click Delete Account to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Android
Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account on your Android device. These steps apply to devices running Android 2.2 or above.
Note: Each Android version might be slightly different and it is likely that the Exchange account will show up as a Corporate Account.

- Go to Applications > Email. The Email screen will open.
- On the Email screen, bring up the settings menu and tap Accounts. The Accounts screen will open.
- Press and hold the Exchange Account you want to delete until the Menu window opens.
- On the Menu window, click Remove Account. A Remove Account warning window will open.
- On the Remove Account warning window, tap OK or Remove Account to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Apple Mail
Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Apple Mail.

- Open Apple Mail.
- Click Mail on the top menu bar and then Preferences. The Preferences window will open.
- In the Preferences window, click Accounts. The Accounts window will open.
- In the Accounts window, click the Exchange Account you want to delete, then click the minus sign (-). A Remove warning window will open.
- In the Remove warning window, click Remove or OK to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Apple Calendar
Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Apple Calendar.

- Open Apple Calendar.
- Click Calendar on the top menu bar and then Preferences. The Preferences window will open.
- In the Preferences window, click Accounts. The Accounts window will open.
- In the Accounts window, click the Exchange Account you want to delete, then click the minus sign (-) below. A Remove warning window will open.
- In the Remove warning window, click Remove to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Outlook.
