Workplace Violence Prevention
Security in the workplace is everyone's responsibility. Complying with
College security policies and procedures protects us all. We expect employees to:
- Report violent or threatening behavior
- Refrain from carrying or storing weapons or dangerous materials and devices on our premise
- Properly use and protect all keys, passwords, ID cards, security devices, security doors, etc.
- Know where telephones or alarms are located and how to use them or who to call
- Support coworkers who encounter violence and encourage them to get help
- Report anything suspicious and anything that threatens the security of the workplace
Remember, the Campus Police Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and has commissioned police officers on duty at all times.
