Process Highlights
Personnel Action Form (PAF)
HR creates PAFs and initiates the DocuSign workflow for all personnel actions for regular full-time, regular part-time, adjunct new hires, and temporary (non-student) employees. Departments should notify HR of required personnel actions through an electronic PAF Request form. This electronic PAF Request Form is located on the OCCC Portal, on the HR Forms Page, and on SharePoint. You will also find a User Guide containing step-by-step instructions about how to utilize the form. To access the PAF Request Form and User Guide. The PAF user guide is inside the portal.
PAFs are necessary for all new hires, for any change to a current position, for a position reassignment, for degree recognition, and for all employment terminations (whether resignation, retirement, or discharge). When a person resigns, the resignation letter must be attached to the PAF. It is important that PAFs be processed expeditiously so that pay may be adjusted accordingly.

PEER-TO-PEER PRAISE
Morgan Felty, Student Engagement and Technical Specialist
Morgan Felty began his career at OCCC in 2004 as a student employee. His commitment to education only grew as he continued in his career. Today, his role in the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) requires him to make use of his many technical skills and also requires him to problem solve and communicate solutions to faculty, staff, and students.
Dr. Glenne' Whisenhunt, Director of the CLT, explained that it is not uncommon to hear words of praise about Morgan's professionalism and superior customer service. Just a few examples: “Morgan is fantastic!” “I run to Morgan when I have an issue, and he always fixes it.” “Be nice to Morgan. We need him.”
Do you have someone you would like to nominate for Peer-To-Peer Praise? Send your submission to hrdesk@occc.edu
