Suicide Prevention
The HEPS grant also provides suicide prevention as part of the program. Suicide prevention focuses on promoting mental health resources on campus, like our mental health counseling, and in the community, like 988. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health reach out and ask for help.
Getting Help in An Emergency
If you are someone you care about, needs help with a mental health or substance use emergency do the following:
Call "911" or go to your closest Emergency Room
Utilize Oklahoma's Mental Health Lifeline via phone or text to "988"
