Jennifer Peters

Jennifer Peters is a Professor of Nursing at Oklahoma City Community College in the second semester of the traditional pathway specializing in Maternal Newborn nursing. Jennifer’s higher education began at OCU where she received a BS in Dance Management in 2000. After a short dance career, and many injuries, she returned to Oklahoma for nursing school. Jennifer is honored to be 2003 graduate of our OCCC Nursing program. She first considered nursing education as a potential career while still in nursing school. Jennifer completed her MS in Nursing Education in 2008 and began full-time employment at OCCC the same year. In August, 2013, she passed the certification exam in nursing education and was able to add CNE (Certified Nurse Educator) to her title. In addition to teaching and working as a labor nurse in a local hospital Jennifer loves spending time with her family.
