Merette Dean

Merette graduated from the Oklahoma City Community College nursing program in the Spring of 2008 and worked initially with labor and delivery and postpartum patients. She earned her Bachelors degree at Oklahoma City University in 2010 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Merette worked for several years in labor and delivery, pre-op, PACU, as well as a pediatric diabetes educator. She earned her Masters degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2014. Merette began working at OCCC in 2010 as adjunct nursing faculty and accepted a full time Professor of Nursing position in 2016. She has a passion for education and encourages all her students’ to advance their education.
