This course serves as a capstone course for the anesthesia technology program. Topics include supply chain fundamentals, including budget limitations and cost effectiveness; ethics and law related to anesthesia technology, policies and standards for quality assurance, process improvement, regulatory associations, and credentialing. Students will prepare for the national technologist credentialing exam, review career opportunities and discuss present and future technologies. This course satisfies the computer proficiency requirement.
