This course is an introduction to the role of the Anesthesia Technologist and their relationship to other Healthcare Professionals. In addition, the student will be introduced to the theory and concepts of functioning in a surgical environment including a fundamental understanding of a variety of anesthesia equipment/supplies and basic case set-up. This course satisfies the computer proficiency requirement.
