Certificate of Master in International Business

The Certificate of Mastery in International Business provides students interested in global economies and overseas markets with the background and skills necessary to be successful in the international arena. As the U.S. domestic economy and international markets become more and more interdependent, the demand for professionals able to conduct business with the knowledge of various economic, political, and cultural differences will increase.

According to the Journal of International Business, a graduate with a Certificate of Mastery in International Business may earn $3,000 to $6,000 more compared to employees without this certificate.

As part of Oklahoma City Community College's (OCCC) emphasis on global initiatives, the Certificate of Mastery in International Business is designed to offer OCCC students and the community the opportunity to complement their major field of study with an additional concentration in international business. Students will take a coordinated series of international courses and receive a certificate that signifies their knowledge in this area.

To obtain the certificate, the student must complete a minimum of 18 international business credits. Any student in good standing at OCCC is eligible to participate in the Certificate Program.
