Maintenance and Light Vehicle Repair Program
The "Maintenance and Light Vehicle Repair Program" (MLRP) gives the student training in four of the eight ASE areas. The student earns an 18 hour credit hour "Certificate of Mastery" with program emphasis on Electrical, Brakes, Suspension/Steering, and Heating and Air Conditioning Systems. Examples of required internships would be "Firestone or Hibdon Tires Plus" Auto Care Stores. Students in the program also have the option of continuing on in the ATIP program to earn an Automotive Associate of Applied Science Degree, and this can de done in the night program allowing the student to work full time during the day.
