Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission Reaffirmation of Accreditation and designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
OCCC offers two programs in Cyber Defense. Click on the links below to review the program degree plans.
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS): Computer Science – Cyber/Information Security
- Certificate of Mastery: Computer Science – Cyber/Information Security

OCCC offers students who currently possess a valid Industry Certification to receive Advanced Standing Credit for a variety of courses in Computer Science.
To receive Advanced Standing Credit, a student must show proof of certification, complete the required paperwork and pay $5.00 per semester hour or $15.00 per 3 hour course. Students must complete 12 semester hours of credit at before the credit will be added to their transcript.
Students should contact their Computer Science professor or the Division of Information Technology office at 1-405-682-7888 for a list of the certifications which qualify for Advanced Standing Credit.

Testing and Assessment at Oklahoma City Community College is a Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center providing on-site, on-demand testing for certification and professional licensure exams.
