Computer-Aided Technology Advisory
The OCCC Computer-Aided Technology Advisory Committee supports the department’s mission of preparing our students to better their lives and community through excellence in computer-aided design, drafting and advanced manufacturing education. The Advisory Board’s primary purpose is to strengthen our programs and identify skills to foster workforce preparedness. The Advisory Board members, though very diverse in their backgrounds, represent local industry and academia.
Through engaged discussions and interactions with the department faculty, staff and students, they provide feedback on the program and course objectives, lend their expertise to outreach activities and offer professional avenues for students via internships. With their involvement, OCCC is able to achieve a standard of excellence in information technology education among two-year colleges.
