Ensure Your Success at OCCC!

The Office of Recruitment & Admissions wants to make sure you have all of the tools necessary to be successful at OCCC.  Here are a few tips to ensure your success:

• Check your OCCC Email regularly .  All correspondence from OCCC (financial aid, faculty, bursar, etc.) will come directly to your student email.  It is very important you check it every day.
• Verify your class schedule and the location of your classrooms.  OCCC’s classrooms are close enough that you can easily navigate between classes.  In order to make sure you aren’t late, walk to each of your classes before the semester begins.  This will eliminate any confusion on the first day of classes.
• Submit any documents you may be missing.  If you were admitted to OCCC without all of the necessary documents required of you, you may have a hold placed on your account.  To ensure you aren’t delayed later, make sure you submit all documents to Records.  If you are unsure about this, you can contact Records for assistance.
