Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) awards thousands of dollars in scholarship money each year to a number of students, including incoming college freshmen. With the Freshman Scholarship deadline set for Monday, March 2, apply now and use this opportunity to fund your future.
Jon Horinek, director of Recruitment and Admissions, said OCCC’s programs and affordable tuition make college well within reach for many students.
“There are numerous opportunities for students to qualify for both financial assistance and scholarships,” Horinek said. “Here at OCCC we don’t want the cost of tuition or additional financial barriers to keep students from academic success and meeting their career goals. High school seniors should take advantage of this scholarship and apply now.”
To apply students must complete the detailed checklist found at /admissions/pdf/scholarship-steps-4-success.pdf.
Scholarships available to freshmen include: Oklahoma Academic Scholarship, Regent’s Scholarship and President’s Scholarship. Find out more about these scholarship opportunities at /admissions/pdf/15-freshman-scholarships.pdf.
