Oklahoma City Community College’s (OCCC) Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater was recently announced as Best Entertainment Venue of 2015 in Moore Monthly’s “Best of Moore and South OKC” annual competition.
Thousands of votes were cast for the best businesses in 20 different categories. Winners were announced in a ceremony Feb. 28, bringing together elected officials, business leaders and community members.
“This win is another indication that OCCC is making a significant and noticeable impact in our community,” said OCCC’s Director of Cultural Programs Lemuel Bardeguez.
The competition was sponsored by Moore Monthly Magazine and fellow nominees in the Entertainment Category included the Warren Theatre, Heyday Entertainment, among others.
