Human Resources Retirement Celebration Postponed
Retirement Celebration Postponed
Dear Colleagues,
Each year we take time to celebrate the enormous contributions our retiring faculty and staff have made to Oklahoma City Community College and the higher education community over their long careers. This is an opportunity for all of us to say thank you to, share stories about and connect with our colleagues, and it’s something we always feel is of great significance and importance.
Unfortunately, with the continuing pandemic that’s keeping all of us at home for the foreseeable future, the Retirement Celebration we scheduled for May 1, 2020, has been postponed. When we’re able to gather again, we’ll ensure a special celebration still takes place for those set to retire this fiscal year and their families. In the meantime, if you know someone who’s retiring this year, I hope you’ll take the time to personally thank them in your own way, and when the rescheduled celebration takes place, I hope you’ll attend.
To our retirees: Thank you for all you’ve contributed to our community. We cannot wait to celebrate you soon.

Vice President for Human Resources
