OCCC Behavioral Assessment Team (OBAT)

OBAT Video

We are a campuswide team of appointed professionals responsible for identifying, assessing, and responding to serious concerns and/or disruptive behaviors by students, faculty, and staff members who may threaten the health or safety of the campus community.

Defining OBAT

  • A behavioral assessment team is a group of 8–10 student affairs professionals, faculty members, and administrators who educate the community about what behaviors of concern should be reported to the team.
  • The team meets biweekly to discuss and intervene with at-risk student, faculty, and staff behavior.
