Instructional Video Services

Instructional Video Services is dedicated to supporting Oklahoma City Community College students, staff and patrons through the use of visual media and equipment. There are three main services provided by IVS; Audio Visual Support, Instructional Video Production and Video Programming Support.

Audio Visual Support is the area of IVS that has the most interaction with faculty, students and College clients. Staff members in this area are responsible for collaborating on classroom and meeting room design, installation of equipment, and providing technical assistance and training for use of available equipment.  Audio Visual Support staff also deliver and setup equipment not currently available in classrooms and meeting rooms.

Instructional Video Production serves as the College's in-house video production facility. This full service, fully digital production studio is capable of producing programs to multiple media formats including streaming media formats.  Other services include off-air recording, videotape or CD duplication, and lecture taping.

Video Programming Support is the branch of IVS that makes available content for viewing on campus, off campus or on the web.  Team members in this department program content for campus digital signage and Cox Cable channel 18.  The streaming media server is managed by members of this team including closed captioning for all content housed on the server.
