The Student Awards Ceremony scheduled for tonight, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater will proceed as scheduled. There are currently no plans to cancel classes or events today due to potential severe weather.

College officials will continue to monitor the forecast and if weather conditions worsen and cause any cancellations, we will announce those immediately through local radio and television stations and posts on the college’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages. Terri was born at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Neb.  She lived in several places before her father retired from Air Force to live here in OKC in 1969. She attended high school at Robinson Senior High School in Tampa, Florida and Capitol Hill High School in OKC. She attended OCCC when it was South Oklahoma City Junior College for her Associates of Science in Nursing, UCO, OU, and Bartlesville Wesleyan (now Oklahoma Wesleyan) for her BSN, and last attended University of Pheonix for her MSN. Terri has attended OCCC in various classes since it opened.  She had always said she would come back and teach here. As a child she shares that she loved to play nurse and teacher, so now her career includes both loves.  She enjoys helping to educate future nurses.
