The Student Awards Ceremony scheduled for tonight, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater will proceed as scheduled. There are currently no plans to cancel classes or events today due to potential severe weather.

Michaele has been a Registered Nurse since 1982.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from OU as well as a Masters in Human Relations and a Masters in Nursing Education.  She has been employed in various positions in the healthcare field, predominately in the area of med/ surg nursing.  Michaele has been in education for a total of 15 years. Prior to coming to OCCC, she was the Health Science Technology I Instructor at Mid America Technology Center for 10 years.  Michaele feels her prior experience as an educator serves her well as she continues to support the educational success of students at OCCC as Professor of Nursing.  She shares that she feels a deep sense of responsibility to prepare a student to become a life learner.
