Employment Opportunities

Adult Education and Literacy Instructors

Adult education and literacy teachers will assist adults to acquire and develop literacy and numeracy skills; to acquire the necessary academic prerequisites to access further post-secondary education and skill training opportunities, or employment and workplace training opportunities; to increase educational levels for purposes of self-improvement; to learn and develop living and social skills; and/or to acquire and develop English language skills.

Continuing Education Instructors

The Continuing Education Instructor will be responsible for instructing adults from ages 15 and up in non-credit classes. The subject matter will be determined by the instructor and the Coordinator of Community Education and will be designed to enrich the students' knowledge and well-being. This is a temporary part-time position.

College for Kids/Teen Instructors

The College For Kids/Teens Instructor will be responsible for instructing children ranging from 4 to 14 years of age. The subject matter includes leadership and community service, music and art, reading, writing, arithmetic and science activities, and other hands-on learning experiences. The subject matter will be determined by the instructor and the Coordinator of Community Education. This is a temporary part-time position.
