Advising For Current and Returning Students

Current and returning students can search and register for classes using several different methods.  Students are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor if they need assistance with choosing the appropriate classes for the semester.  After meeting with an Academic Advisor to discuss appropriate classes, one of our knowledgable Peer Advisors will assist you with choosing a class schedule and completing your registration.  Academic Advisors can also assist students with changing their major and with career advising.  If you already know which classes you would like to take, you can register for classes directly at Registration or you may also register for classes from home using your MineOnline portal.

A Returning or Current Student Can Register for Class by completing any of the following methods:

  • Meet with an Academic Advisor to register in person
  • Going directly to Registration if you already know which classes you need
  • Registering from home using your OCCC Portal student account
    • Your MineOnline username is: firstname.middleinitial.lastname, your password is the last six digits of your social security number

If you need assistance with learning to navigate your MineOnline portal please try viewing the following video tutorial
